What to do During Referencing
During the referencing process there a few things you can do to help speed things up:
- Contact your referees to let them know we will be in contact. The first form of contact will be an email followed by calls, and the sooner a reference is provided by your referee the quicker your report is completed!
- Upload three months of bank statements and 3 months of payslips (if applicable)
- If you are currently renting upload a copy of your current tenancy agreement
How do I upload documents?
You can upload documents by accessing your Goodlord Portal via the original ‘Reference Request’ email you received. If required, you can access this via app.goodlord.co.
How do I check the status of my reference?
You can check the status of your reference by logging into your tenant portal.
How will I know the outcome?
To find out the outcome of your reference please contact your agent. We only provide a recommendation and the final decision is with the agent. For this reason, we are not able to tell you the outcome of your reference.
